Persons / Persons' Families

Refers to any individual, with their own unique identity, characteristics, and experiences, and a social unit of individuals, who share a biological or legal bond.  For the purposes of the pan-Canadian Health Data Framework, the focus is on residents of Canada, or on those receiving health care, supports, and resources within Canada. <br/><br/>This type of stakeholder will benefit from the Framework as it will enable:<br/><ul>
<li>- consistent capture, use, and interpretation of health data;</li><li>- availability of best practice health data to support quality care;</li><li>- access to their own comprehensive personal health record.</li></ul><p/>
